About Me
I attended the University of Victoria from 2011 to 2015, graduating with a degree in Economics. Rather than taking the next logical steps and proceeding into either higher education or a career in the world of finance, I spent the next years working and traveling.
Before hitting the road, my intentions were always clear; save some money, have a couple backpacking adventures, and then get back to the real world and start up my career. As time went on, those clear intentions became less tangible. I fell in love with the freedom that I'd found, and settling back home felt more like chaining myself to the ground than anything else.
Lady Luck smiled upon me and I was hired to work as a tour guide with Life Before Work Travel in 2017 and I haven't looked back since. Unfortunately, tour guiding wasn't a year-round position, so I needed other income to allow me to continue traveling when I wasn't working.
That's where the idea for this website came up. I was tired of seeing the bullshit advertisements selling miraculous products like, "learn programming in three weeks and start making a 6-figure income in less than 3 months!". So I set out to find some real actions that I could take to make money online that the general populace hasn't been privy to.
If you're somebody that sees him or herself in a rut with your work or lifestyle, I'm going to show you just how you can turn it around.
I'm not going to sugarcoat it; this is all real work that requires your due diligence, especially to get it all started. Personally, I recommend holding a day job and working online on the side to start, just to ensure that you constantly have money coming in. Once your online income stream is capable of sustaining a comfortable means of living, then you can commit full-time to making it work.
